This is the second version of deliverable D3.3 Big Data Connectors and Catalogue Service v1 which was released in November 2017.
The document provides the description of data federation facilities for organising and accessing large distributed datasets (e.g. ARGOS datasets and Sentinel datasets) in order to serve high-level exploratory and predictive analytics. Given the “Big” and heterogeneous nature of remote, in situ and model data sources, this task will employ the state-of-the-art big data technologies to support loading, extraction, aggregation, and transformation of large variety of data formats (including structured, semi-structured, unstructured data) with very high throughput.
