"Thursday Innovation Space Time" are weekly events dedicated to the students and researchers of the Toulouse "Paul Sabatier" to present topics about the space industry. These events are organized in the frame of the FabSpace H2020 project.
Big Data from Space refers to the massive spatio-temporal Earth and Space observation data collected by a variety of sensors ranging from ground based to space-borne and the synergetic use of data coming from other sources and communities. This domain is currently facing sharp development with numerous new initiatives and breakthroughs from intelligent sensors to data science.
The European Data Forum (EDF) is a key European event for industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the European data economy and data-driven innovation in Europe. Likewise, the BDVA Summit has quickly grown into a renowned event for all stakeholders in the European data economy.
This year EDF and BDVA join forces to bring you the European Big Data Value Forum that will be held in Versailles (Palais des Congrès), France from 21st to 23rd November 2017.

The Marine Week is an open forum meant for stakeholders, contributors and for beneficiaries of the EU Marine Service and beyond. It is therefore open to a large panel of institutions, agencies, regional stakeholders, entrepreneurs, service providers and scientists.
The purpose of the week is to present and openly release CMEMS major achievements as regards economy, societal challenges, science and EU leadership worldwide and is also meant to propose CMEMS future prospects to the benefits of Member States, Regions, and of the Society in general.
Given the complex nature of Marine Protected Areas, participants from multidisciplinary backgrounds will reconvene in La Serena, Chile for IMPAC4, an international conference with a program that covers a wide array of topics, including management tools, conservation biology, ecology, fisheries, climate change, monitoring, enforcement, community development, communications, education, business administration, and much more.

The main theme for the XIIth SCAR (Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research) biology symposium is "Scale matters". From the small molecular scale, through population and large ecosystem scale, biological processes and diversity span all these levels. Understanding these processes as well past and present patterns of biodiversity are essential for understanding possible threats to Antarctic biology and their impact.
